RivTech Drift Boats are designed from the ground up to create stronger and lighter boat to provide you with a better fishing experience. Our vacuum infusion construction process uses multi axial fiberglass and vinyl ester resins. This takes the weight out of the boat by removing extra resin. We also use variable thickness across the hull and chime to put extra strength were needed. This is the same process that Randy Stoneman the owner of RivTech Drift Boats used in his previous experience building super high-end luxury yachts. Vacuum Infusion Process
Every composite component on a RivTech Drift Boat is manufactured utilizing the Vacuum Infusion process. This aerospace process eliminates voids that you find in boats that are built utilizing the older hand lay-up process and it maintains the proper resin to fiberglass ratio which saves weight, strengthens the laminate and creates a consistent, durable laminate. Boats that are laid up and glassed by hand cannot match the durability or hull integrity that is inherent in all RivTech boats. Vinyl Ester Resin
RivTech uses only the highest quality Vinyl Ester Resins. Vinyl Ester Is much more resistant to chemicals and water permeation than the standard Polyester resins used by other manufacturers. Vinyl Ester resins also have higher strength and better bonding capabilities.
Adjustable / Removable Drift Boat Seats with Storage
Rivtech’s fishing seats are both adjustable and removable. The oarsman’s bench seat and passengers bend seats feature large storage areas with marine grade latches and hinges.
