A Stronger, Lighter Drift Boat for a Better Fishing Experiene
RivTech Drift Boats are designed from the ground up to create stronger and lighter boat to provide you with a better fishing experience.
Our vacuum infusion construction process uses multi axial fiberglass and vinyl ester resins. This takes the weight out of the boat by removing extra resin. We also use variable thickness across the hull and chime to put extra strength were needed. This is the same process that Randy Stoneman the owner of RivTech Drift Boats used in his previous experience building super high-end luxury yachts.

Is a thicker drift boat hull better?
We were recently at the Montana Fishing Expo and took the time to educate clients about the vacuum infusion process. Our boat hulls are often not think like the other drift boats because we are not using traditional drift boat technology. Extra resin in the boat building process adds weight and does not necessarily add strength. What add strength is a uniform saturation of our multi axial fiberglass.

Exact Tolerances and Production Process Produce a Stronger, Lighter, Drift Boat.
Our fiberglass material is more dense that the standard woven roving fiberglass, thus we use high pressure to evenly saturate the material. Then we use the vacuum infusion process to remove the extra unneeded resin to our exact tolerances.

High Performance
A Stronger Lighter Boat we are fishermen just like you and know that a fisherman’s arms burn after a long day rowing on the river. Weight is not your friend when you are in a drift boat because extra weight takes energy to paddle up river. In the spring time when rivers are gushing with snow melt the last thing you want is a heavy boat when you are navigating hazards. At RivTech we have interviewed the hard-core fisherman and folks who just want to drift on an occasional Sunday fishing trip. We learned that all fishermen have a common desire for a long-lasting, strong and light weight design. Think about this the next time you have to drop your boat into of hard to reach launch sites or lug your boat over logs on the river.

Lifetime Warranty on the Hull
On the river you will notice how light and agile a RivTech Drift Boat performs. We are totally confident in our twenty plus years in the yacht building business and provide our customers with a life time warranty on the hull.
If you want to see for yourself how a RivTech Drift Boat performs then feel free to schedule an in-person meeting with Randy Stoneman or one of our pro staff in your area.
